Terms of Use

By registering for or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 14; your continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must verify your account via the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email or phone number before accessing certain features.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or are used in violation of these Terms.

CrowdAm offers several ways to participate:

• Contest Challenges: brands and individuals launch contests where users submit content, earn votes, and compete for rewards.
• U-Judge: real-time, live-streamed judging sessions where the crowd, hosts, and the Platform jointly determine winners.
• I-Challenge: head-to-head challenges between two ideas, people, or brands, decided by crowd voting.
• Advisory Campaigns: structured campaigns where businesses collect feedback and opinions directly from participants.

Individual campaigns, contests, and challenges may carry additional rules set by the organizer ('Campaign Rules'). Campaign Rules supplement these Terms; in the event of a direct conflict, these Terms govern matters of platform conduct, account standing, and payments.

'User Content' means any video, image, text, comment, vote, or other material you submit to the Platform. You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant CrowdAm a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote your User Content on and in connection with the Platform, including for marketing the campaign or contest it was submitted to.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content.
• Your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Your content complies with these Terms and any applicable Campaign Rules.

We may remove User Content that violates these Terms, infringes third-party rights, or is reported and found to violate applicable law, without prior notice.

• Winners are determined according to the voting and judging mechanism disclosed for each contest, challenge, or live session — which may combine crowd votes, host decisions, and Platform rules.
• Votes must be genuine. Using bots, multiple accounts, paid vote-farming, or other artificial means to influence voting is prohibited and may result in disqualification and account suspension.
• Rewards are subject to the specific Campaign Rules of the contest, including any eligibility, verification, or fulfillment requirements set by the organizer.
• You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on rewards or winnings you receive.
• We reserve the right to disqualify entries or withhold rewards where we reasonably suspect fraud, manipulation, or a breach of these Terms.

• The Platform provides an in-app wallet for holding rewards, winnings, and balances associated with your account.
• Withdrawals are processed through third-party payment processors and may be subject to processing times, transaction fees, and minimum withdrawal amounts disclosed in the app.
• You are responsible for providing accurate payout details. CrowdAm is not liable for funds sent to incorrect details you provided.
• We may delay, reverse, or decline a transaction where we suspect fraud, error, or a violation of these Terms, and may request additional verification before releasing funds.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes another person's rights.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive other users, hosts, or campaign organizers.
• Manipulate votes, results, or rewards through automated tools, multiple accounts, or paid vote-farming.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, including live judging sessions, through hacking, scraping, or introducing malicious code.
• Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any other illegal financial activity.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the Platform.

U-Judge and other live sessions are broadcast in real time and may be recorded for moderation, dispute resolution, replay, and quality purposes. By joining a live session, you consent to your participation — including audio, video, and votes cast — being captured and, where the session is public, visible to other participants and viewers. Hosts and moderators may remove participants who violate these Terms or applicable Campaign Rules during a live session.

The Platform, including its design, features, logos, and underlying software, is owned by CrowdAm or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license you grant us over your User Content, nothing in these Terms transfers any CrowdAm intellectual property to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform without our prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable Campaign Rules, or applicable law, or where necessary to protect the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time, subject to any pending transactions or legal record-keeping obligations described in our Privacy Policy.

The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any contest, vote, or reward outcome will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrowdAm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (USD $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold CrowdAm, its affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at Support@crowdam.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Platform or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
